Holme House HIV Update

Since October 2011 TPA have been testing inmates at Holme House for HIV and Chlamydia. These tests are at the request of the inmates as part of their general health or as a final check-up before re-entering the community. We have tested 27 inmates since inception and in this short time we have seen an increased number of requested tests this is showing a positive reflection on perceptions of the testing process and that more people are more conscious about needed to be tested. We are looking at offering Hep-C testing to run alongside HIV testing throughout the TPA services, including our clinic at Holme House. Keep checking this site for updates.
