Teesside Positive Action Ltd is a registered charity which provides a wide range of services to the public, with the aim of reducing stigma and prejudice that surrounds HIV and AIDS. TPA promote a positive and holistic approach towards sexual health, providing direct services and referrals to all communities, including ‘harder to reach’ groups, to improve knowledge and understanding on sexual health issues, prevention and safer sex messages and improve access to the Teesside Integrated Sexual Health Services.

Our services have evolved over the years to reflect changes to HIV care provision and a wide range of community services are now available:

  • Emotional and practical support to anyone infected or affect by HIV
  • 1 hour HIV testing
  • Advice and information
  • Training and education
  • Advocacy work
  • Raising awareness
